Sun Announce Preseason Schedule

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 3, 2016) — The Connecticut Sun will open its 14th season by hosting a two-day preseason event involving the Atlanta Dream, Chicago Sky and San Antonio Stars on May 4th and 5th at Mohegan Sun Arena.

On May 4th, the Dream will face San Antonio at 5 p.m. while the Sun meet Chicago at 7 p.m. On May 5th, Atlanta plays Chicago at 5 p.m. while the Stars tip off against Connecticut at 7 p.m. The Sun close out the preseason on the road against the Dallas Wings on May 8th.

“We enjoyed the multi-night, two-game format so much last season that we decided to do it again this year,” Connecticut Sun Vice President and General Manager Chris Sienko said, referring to  the event last year that included the Chinese National Team, Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky. “It’s a great chance for our fans to see multiple teams, and it’s nice to start the season off with a special event like this.”

The Connecticut Sun open the regular season at Chicago on May 14th, and travel to San Antonio for a game on May 19th. The Sun home opener is May 21st at 7 p.m. against the Washington Mystics.
