Uncasville, CT (May 10, 2024) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced that the team has waived Taiyanna Jackson and Helena Pueyo.
Jackson was drafted 19th overall by the Sun in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of the University of Kansas. The 6-6 center logged four minutes in Connecticut’s exhibition contest on Thursday, notching two points and three rebounds. Pueyo was drafted 22nd overall by the Sun in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of the University of Arizona. The 6-0 guard saw three minutes of action in the preseason matchup.
