• The Wings held a 35-26 lead over the Sun with 5:37 remaining in the first half. Brionna Jones had four of Connecticut’s eight points to open the second quarter.

• Williams led the Sun with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal after two quarters of play. Ogunbowale finished the first half with nine points, four rebounds and one assist to lead the Wings.
• The Sun shot 43.2% (16-37) from the floor, while the Wings were 40.5% (15-37) from the field in the first half.
• Connecticut outscored Dallas in the paint (16-14) and in second chance points (6-5) in the first twenty minutes of action, while Dallas had the edge in fast break points (3-2) and bench points (18-4).
• The Wings opened the third quarter on 6-0 run, forcing the Sun to call any early timeout with 8:02 left in the quarter.
• Dallas outscored Connecticut 22-16 in the third quarter, to take a 63-54 lead into the fourth. Bonner, B. Jones and Williams each had four third-quarter points to lead the Sun in scoring out of the locker room.
• The Wings won the fourth quarter, 19-17, and ultimately defeated the Sun, 82-71 in the game.
• Jones had 16 points, three rebounds and one block in 25 minutes off the bench.
• The Sun grabbed a season-low four offensive rebounds, compared to the Wings’ 11 offensive boards.
• Connecticut finished the night shooting 43.1% (28-65), while Dallas shot 45.1% (32-71) from the field.

The Connecticut Sun are back on the road Wednesday, June 13 to take on the Indiana Fever at 12:00 P.M. EST at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Sun will look for a regular season sweep against the Fever, having won all three contests this year against their Eastern Conference counterparts. In their last matchup, Connecticut defeated Indiana, 88-69, behind an 18-point performance from Brionna Jones.
