  • A break-away layup by Hiedeman at the 4:37 mark in the fourth gave the Sun their first lead since the first quarter, 62-61.
  • After a back-and-forth final five minutes of the fourth quarter, the Sun and Mystics were tied 66-66, sending the contest into overtime. Connecticut outscored Washington, 32-17, in the second half.
  • The Sun scored the first four points in overtime to take a 70-66 lead with 3:42 to play.
  • The two teams traded baskets the rest of the way, but ultimately it was Connecticut who took home the 74-72 overtime victory.
