The Connecticut Sun Bring Back ‘Games for Good’

Uncasville, CT (February 16, 2023) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced that the organization will be continuing its “Games for Good” program.

The free program, now in its second year, benefits select local non-profits each year in the state of Connecticut through the purchase of tickets to Connecticut Sun games and will provide exposure to those non-profits throughout the 2023 season. Sun fans will be able to purchase tickets all season long through “Games for Good” and a portion of each ticket will benefit the chosen recipients.

This year, the Sun has approached the program differently. Fans now have the opportunity to nominate organizations they want to support. Between February 16-March 3, fans can go to the “Games for Good” webpage to nominate a worthy organization. The Connecticut Sun will then pick three organizations to be this season’s “Games for Good” beneficiaries.

To nominate and support “Games for Good” beneficiaries, visit https://sun.wnba.com/games-for-good/. For more information, contact Lindsey Kaplan at 860-862-4320 or lkaplan@connecticutsun.com.
