GAME PREVIEW: Sun Take On Fever in First Road Game Monday Night

Indianapolis, IN– The Connecticut Sun (2-0) will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Indiana Fever (0-3) on Tuesday, May 20 at 7:00pm ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The game will air on ESPN and can also be streamed on the ESPN app.

Last time out on Friday evening, the Connecticut Sun defeated the Washington Mystics, 84-77, at Mohegan Sun Arena. DeWanna Bonner notched 22 points to lead the Sun, while DiJonai Carrington added 21 points and Alyssa Thomas notched a double-double with a 13-point and 11-rebound performance.

The Sun met the Fever in their 2024 season opener, coming away with a 92-71 victory on May 14 at Mohegan Sun Arena. Connecticut is 56-31 all-time versus Indiana and have won the last nine regular season meetings dating back to the 2021 season. The Sun have also won four in a row on the road against the Fever, with their last loss in Indianapolis coming on July 3, 2021.

Indiana dropped their last contest to New York on Saturday, 91-80. The Fever were led in the effort by Caitlin Clark, who recorded 22 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the effort. Head Coach Christie Side is in her second season with Indiana.
