  • The Sun outscored the Dream in points in the paint (18-16), fast-break points (9-2) and bench points (14-11) in the first half. Atlanta had the advantage in second-chance points, 11-6.
  • The Sun opened the third quarter on a 7-2 run, forcing the Dream into an early timeout at the 8:00 minute mark. Jonquel Jones had five points of her 15 points in that two-minute stretch to lead the Sun out of the locker room.
  • Connecticut outscored Atlanta, 25-15, in the third quarter to take an 83-56 lead in the contest. Hiedeman led the Sun with eight points, two assists and two steals in the third quarter of play.
  • The Dream outscored the Sun, 36-22 in the fourth quarter, but the Sun ultimately took home the victory, 105-92.

NEXT GAME

The Connecticut Sun are back home Friday, June 17 to take on the Seattle Storm at 7pm EST at Mohegan Sun Arena. The meeting will be the second of three matchups between the Sun and the Storm this season. Connecticut bested Seattle, 93-86, in Washington on June 5, snapping a five-game losing streak against the Storm dating back to the 2019 season.
