Uncasville, CT (November 2, 2022) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced its involvement in the Inaugural “Donny’s Dash” 5k Run and Walk on Saturday, November 5, at Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center (22 Iron Horse Blvd, Simsbury, CT 06070). The Connecticut Sun is sponsoring the kids’ portion of the 5k, the Connecticut Sun Fun Run.
Donny’s Dash will be hosted by UConn basketball legend and Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford Board (BGCH) Member, Donny Marshall and all proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, one of the Connecticut Sun’s community partners. Donny’s Dash welcomes participants of all abilities, ages and fitness levels to run or walk. Participants will enjoy a beautiful fall run through the Farmington River Valley followed by an iHeartMedia SoleFest with music, a Fun Zone and more. Highlights will include free kids and youth runs, a variety of fitness activities, healthy snacks, giveaways, and entertainment.

Location: Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center, 22 Iron Horse Blvd, Simsbury, CT 06070 – Proceed to the Pre & Post Race Area located inside the stonewall courtyard, directly in front of the bandshell stage.
Parking Information: Limited parking is available in the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center, first come, first serve. Ample free parking is located in the municipal parking lots between Iron Horse Boulevard and Route 10 (Hopmeadow Road).
