Uncasville, CT (February 15, 2024) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced its second annual golf tournament to benefit the Connecticut Sun Foundation.
The Connecticut Sun 2023 Golf Tournament was a huge success, hosting over 100 golfers and sponsors and raising over $18,000 for the Connecticut Sun Foundation–all proceeds going toward improving the lives of Connecticut’s youth by supporting athletic and educational endeavors.
The Connecticut Sun Foundation 2024 Golf Tournament will take place on May 8, 2024 at the Mohegan Sun Golf Club (7 Dows Lane, Baltic, CT 06330). Participation in the tournament includes 18 holes of golf with a golf cart, lunch, course contests, a dessert reception, a silent auction and raffle prizes. The tournament will feature special guests, and attendees will have the chance to mingle with the Sun’s coaches, general manager and players. Registration for the event is open.
Though spots to participate are limited, there are many opportunities to donate. The Sun Foundation will be accepting monetary donations, as well as raffle and auction item donations, which can be coordinated by contacting Connecticut Sun Community Relations and Youth Development Coordinator, Jenna Whelan (jwhelan@connecticutsun.com).
