Sun Host Mystics Thursday Night
Uncasville, CT: The Connecticut Sun (7-27) are back at home for their final match-up with the Washington Mystics (16-19) on Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 PM ET at Mohegan Sun Arena. The game will air locally on NBC Sports Boston with Brendan Glasheen, Ashley Battle and Terrika Foster-Brasby on the call. It will also be available to stream on WNBA League Pass.
Last time out against the Washington Mystics on Tuesday night, the Sun were victorious, 80-69, on the road in D.C.. Rookie guard Saniya Rivers led the way with 17 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench. Olivia Nelson-Ododa added 15 points, nine rebounds and a career-high tying four assists. Leila Lacan added eight points, four assists and a game-high four steals. It marked her third game this season with 4+ steals, the most amongst WNBA rookies this season. The Sun recorded a season-high 45 bench points in the game, as they snapped their 13-game road-game losing streak with the win at CareFirst Arena.
