Nia Clouden made strides with the Sun during her rookie campaign. The 12th overall pick in the 2022 WNBA Draft appeared in 28 regular season games for Connecticut, finishing her first year with 58 points, 23 rebounds, 21 assists, six steals and one block. Clouden recorded a season and career-high seven points in two contests during 2022 regular season actions (6/15 against Atlanta and 6/19 against Washington). The Michigan State grad also logged minutes in seven postseason games, tallying a playoff career-high four points in the Sun’s Game 3 win over Las Vegas in the Finals.
