Connecticut Sun Sign Mikiah Herbert Harrigan to Training Camp Contract

Uncasville, CT (February 4, 2023) – The Connecticut Sun has signed Mikiah (Kiki) Herbert Harrigan to a training camp contract, the team announced today.

Herbert Harrigan was selected sixth overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2020 WNBA Draft out of the University of South Carolina. She appeared in 21 contests for the Lynx averaging 3.8 points and 2.3 rebounds during her rookie campaign. Prior to the 2021 season, the 6-2 forward was traded to Seattle in a four-way trade between Dallas, New York and Minnesota. Herbert Harrigan appeared in one contest for Seattle in 2021 before sitting out the season due to pregnancy. In 2022, she signed a training camp contract with the Storm, but was waived prior to the season.

“Kiki is a player that can stretch the floor, rebound and block shots,” said Sun General Manager, Darius Taylor. “She plays with a fire and intensity that fits in with our ‘Grit Don’t Quit’ mentality. We look forward to seeing what her recent experience can bring to the table.”

The Sun tip off the 2023 season on Friday, May 19 at the Indiana Fever at 7:00 PM EST.
