• The Connecticut Sun defeated the Indiana Fever, 89-81, in their first game back after the All-Star break. Connecticut takes the regular season series against Indiana, 4-0.
• The Sun move to 15-8 on the season, while the Fever drop to 5-20.
• Jonquel Jones notched a double-double with 20 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, one steal and a season-high four blocks to lead Connecticut in the win.
• Kelsey Mitchell finished with 21 points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal to lead Indiana.
• With 19 points in today’s game, Bonner eclipsed 6,000 career points in the WNBA. She also moved into 12^th place in scoring in WNBA history with 6,009 points in her career, passing Seimone Augustus and Lauren Jackson in the win.
• Jonquel Jones tallied her 2500^th career-point in today’s contest. She now has 2,517 points in five years in the WNBA.
• With seven assists in the game, Alyssa Thomas passed Shannon Johnson for third all-time in Connecticut Sun history. She now has 742 career assists.
• The Sun took a 9-6 lead over the Fever heading into the first media timeout of the contest. Bonner led Connecticut with four early points in the opening stretch.
• Connecticut had a 21-14 advantage over Indiana after the first quarter of play. Jones finished the quarter with six points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal to lead the Sun.
• The Sun opened the second quarter on an 8-5 run to take a 29-19 lead with 5:20 to go in the half. Bonner, Jones, Courtney Williams and Brionna Jones each had a basket in that run.
• Connecticut outscored Indiana, 20-14, to take a 41-28 lead into the locker room at the half.
• Jones tallied a double-double in the first half with 15 points and 11 rebounds, along with one assist and three blocks to lead the Sun. Tiffany Mitchell had eight points and one steal to lead the Fever.
• Connecticut shot 44.7% (17-38) from the field in the first half, while holding Indiana to just 26.7% (8-30) from the floor.
• The Sun outscored the Fever in the paint (20-8), in second-chance points (11-4), fast break points (10-2) and bench points (7-4) in the first half.
• Connecticut opened the second half on a 5-0 run, forcing Indiana to call an early timeout with 7:44 to go in the third. Natisha Hiedeman nailed her first triple of the game in that spurt.
• The Sun led the Fever, 65-46, after three quarters of action. Hiedeman finished the third quarter with 11 of Connecticut’s 24 points, including three three-point field goals.
• Indiana opened the fourth quarter on a 10-6 run forcing the Sun into a timeout with 7:21 to play. Vivians had four points to lead the Fever in that stretch.
• Despite being outscored, 35-24, in the fourth quarter, the Sun came away with the 89-81 victory.
• Bonner finished with 19 points, five rebounds and one steal in her milestone performance.
• Jones tallied 17 points, three rebounds and two steals in 24 minutes off the bench.
• The Sun shot 31-67 (46.3%) from the field, while the Fever shot 30-68 (44.1%) on the day.

The Connecticut Sun finish their road trip with a matchup with the Atlanta Dream on Friday, July 15 at 7:30 P.M. EST at the Gateway Center Arena at College Park. The Sun are 2-0 against the Dream this regular season and have won eight of the last ten meetings dating back to the 2019 season. In their last contest, Connecticut defeated Atlanta, 72-61, behind a 17-point performance from Courtney Williams.
