Uncasville, CT (February 14, 2022) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced their 2022 broadcast team. Brendan Glasheen will serve as the Sun’s play-by-play announcer; Isis Young will join the team as color commentator; and Terrika Foster-Brasby will join as the Sun’s sideline reporter.

Isis Young begins her first season as a color commentator with the Sun. A professional basketball player currently playing for Niki Lefkadas in Greece, Young received a master’s in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a Sports Emphasis from the Syracuse University Newhouse School and a master’s in Media Management from Fordham University. Young worked as a reporter, analyst and sideline reporter for the ACC Network, serving as the host and producer of her own show called the Ice Box, where she reported on various teams for Syracuse athletics. Additionally, Young hosted a show out of the Newhouse School on the Orange Television Network. She was an on-screen producer for the Women’s Sports Update, a show that highlighted women’s sports at Syracuse.

“This opportunity was presented to me while playing professional basketball overseas, and I almost couldn’t believe it! I’m so excited to work with this amazing crew, join the Connecticut Sun family, and cover this team in the W!” – Isis Young

Terrika Foster-Brasby is a multimedia journalist, on-air host and producer. She joins the Connecticut Sun as sideline reporter after serving as a guest personality during various home games for the Sun during the 2021 season. A proud HBCU alumna from Saint Augustine’s University, Foster-Brasby has been featured on several platforms, including the Undefeated, ESPNW, Slam Magazine, MSNBC, NBC Sports, FOX Sports and the New York Times; has done sports coverage for the NCAA, the WNBA, the NBA, and the NFL; and is most known as co-host of ESPN’s Around the Rim women’s basketball podcast.

“I’ve been covering the WNBA for many years, but to be able to tell the stories of these amazing women in this franchise, while working with two of the best in Brendan and Isis was something I didn’t foresee. I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity and look forward to a fun-filled season with this team and organization.” – Terrika Foster-Brasby

Brendan Glasheen will return for his 2nd season with the Connecticut Sun and will provide play-by-play commentary for all home games. The Syracuse graduate has worked as a play-by-play announcer on several platforms, including ESPN+, NBC Sports Boston, Bleacher Report Live, and ACC Network Extra; and most recently, he has worked as the play-by-play announcer for the Maine Celtics. Glasheen is also an on-air personality at 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston and hosts in-studio programming at DraftKings.

“I am super excited to be back with the Connecticut Sun for the 2022 season. There’s clearly unfinished business, and I am honored to be a part of a championship-driven organization. Isis and Terrika are fantastic additions to our broadcast team. I am pumped to work with both of them this season. We are committed to bringing Sun fans an informative and enjoyable on-air product.” – Brendan Glasheen
