Uncasville, CT- As the WNBA offseason months have officially begun, several Connecticut Sun players have already started showcasing their talents overseas. From Europe to Australia, Sun guards Leïla Lacan and Migna Touré and forward Haley Peters have joined their overseas clubs and are continuing to compete at the highest level. Check out how they did in the month of November below!

Leïla Lacan

Lacan, a native of Rodez, France, is playing with French Basketball club, Basket Landes, during the WNBA offseason. The 2026-26 season marks Lacan’s second season with Basket Landes. The team competes in the French women’s basketball league- La Boulangére Wonderligue (LFB), as well as the FIBA EuroLeague. Over five contests in November, Lacan helped lead Basket Landes to a 4-1 record over LFB and EuroLeague play. She averaged 9.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 assists per game. Her best performance came in a 77-58 win over French club, Chartres on November 7, where she finished with a team-high 17 points, along with four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Migna Touré

Touré began her 2025-26 offseason competing with Czech club, Zabiny Brno, but transferred to Turkish club, Besiktas, in early October. Besiktas competes in the Turkish women’s basketball league- Kadinlar Basketbol Süper Ligi (KBSL), as well as FIBA’s EuroCup Women’s league. In November, Touré and Besiktas finished 0-4 in KBSL play and 1-1 in EuroCup competition. Touré’s strongest individual outing came in the team’s 89-87 overtime win against Charnay on November 26, where she notched 20 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block. She finished the month of November averaging 11.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals over six games.

Haley Peters

Peters is enjoying the WNBA offseason competing with the Southside Flyers, a basketball club based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, competing in Australia’s Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). The New Jersey native has played in numerous countries overseas throughout her professional career including France, Italy and Turkey, but this season marks her first competing in Australia. In November, the Southside Flyers finished with a 1-3 record, with Peters averaging a steady 9.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. In their 93-76 win over Sydney, she notched 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one block.
