Ambassador Program
About the Program
The Connecticut Sun Ambassador Program is an opportunity for college students to work alongside Connecticut Sun front office staff, create relationships, and develop their professional skills. For 2024-2025, the Ambassador Program will be constructed in two cohorts – one taking place through the WNBA Off-Season and the other taking place throughout the WNBA Season.
The goal of the Connecticut Sun Ambassador Program is to provide college students with tools and relationships to further their careers, and to help the Sun increase brand awareness and create more life-long Sun fans.
We hope to work together to further the ambassador’s understanding of the organizational structure and operations of a professional sports franchise, and to extend the reach of the Connecticut Sun throughout the state of Connecticut and surrounding areas.

Expectations
Ambassadors will be expected to adequately represent the organization’s core values, attend both internal Sun events and external community events and interact with current and potential fans. Events include, but are not limited to, youth basketball events, community appearances and festivals, in-school clinics and visits, Sun Season Ticket Member events, and Sponsorship Activation events.
Requirements
o Must be currently enrolled in a college or university
o Must be passionate about pursuing a career in the sports industry
o Must have access to a personal vehicle
o Must be communicative and responsive to community members and Sun staff
o Must be respectful to fellow ambassadors, staff members, and community members
o Any ambassadors that do not respond and/or do not put effort into participation will be removed from the program
