UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 8, 2015) – The Connecticut Sun announced today it has signed veteran forward Jennifer Lacy.
To make room on the roster, Inga Orekhova has been waived.
In her 10th WNBA season, Lacy was recently waived by the Los Angeles Sparks. She appeared in eight games with four starts this season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds with eight made threes
Originally signed out of Pepperdine as an undrafted free agent in 2006, Lacy has appeared in 276 WNBA games with the Mercury, Atlanta Dream, Tulsa Shock and Sparks. She has collected 1,373 points and 626 rebounds during her career.
Orekhova played a total of 11 minutes in four games this season for Connecticut.
The Sun will be in action next on Sunday, July 12th when they travel to Chicago to take on the Sky. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
