Sun Academy programs vary in ages, but typically are open to young people in grades 3 through 8.

Yes, Sun Academy has co-ed camps and clinics, in addition to girls-only programs available. Each registration form will indicate whether the camp or clinic is co-ed or all-girls.

Sun Academy programs vary, but typically include skill development and drills that focus on both technical skills and personal development. Participants will receive high-level training in a supportive and structured environment. Camps and Clinics can include technical skills (ball-handling, passing, shooting, defense), fun drills, scrimmaging, guest speakers and mindfulness sessions.

Connecticut Sun Players have made appearances at past Sun Academy programs, however player appearances are not guaranteed.

At all Sun Academy programs, participants are encouraged to bring basketball shoes, comfortable shorts or pants, and water or a sports drink.

Yes! Sun Academy camps and clinics are open to everyone, and we regularly offer programming in neighboring New England states. Be sure to visit our programming page to stay up to date on upcoming camps or clinics near you!

Sun Academy camps and clinics are non-refundable. If for any reason you can no longer attend your program, please contact our Sun Academy team at community@connecticutsun.com at least 24-hours prior to the start of that event for a credit for any money paid to be applied to your account. If for any reason Sun Academy is unable to hold a camp/clinic, you will be notified via email and issued a full refund within 30 days of the cancelled or rescheduled event.
