Sun Host Fever in Boston on Tuesday Night
Boston, MA: The Connecticut Sun (3-18) are back in action for their final game prior to the WNBA All-Star break on Tuesday, July 15 at 8:00 PM ET taking on the Indiana Fever (11-10) at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The game will air nationally on ESPN with Pam Ward, LaChina Robinson and Angel Gray on the call. It will also be available to stream on the ESPN App.
The Sun are back for another game at the TD Garden after the team hosted the Los Angeles Sparks for their first-ever Boston game a season ago on August 20, 2024. The game made history as the first WNBA game to be held at the storied TD Garden. The Sun’s 19,156 tickets sold marked the team’s sixth sell out of the 2024 season, the third highest attendance to a WNBA game this season to date, and the largest number of tickets sold to a Connecticut Sun game in the franchise’s history.
Connecticut enters Tuesday’s game 1-1 against the Indiana Fever during the 2025 regular season. In their most recent meeting in Indianapolis on June 17, the Sun fell to the Fever, 88-71. Tina Charles led the Sun with 20 points, four rebounds, a season-high three assists and one block on the night. Olivia Nelson-Ododa added 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds in the effort. The Sun hold a 59-33 all-time regular season record against the Fever, including a 33-11 record when playing at home. The Sun have won 13 straight against the Fever at home, with their last home regular season loss coming on June 5, 2016.
The Fever enter Tuesday’s game coming off a 102-83 win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday afternoon. Kelsey Mitchell led the way in scoring for Indiana, notching 20 points, four rebounds and three assists, while sophomore guard Caitlin Clark added a double-double with 14 points and 13 assists in the game. Indiana close the first half of the 2025 regular season with a back-to-back, visiting the Sun Tuesday night and finishing in Brooklyn with the New York Liberty on Wednesday evening.
