Sun Conclude Road Trip in Minneapolis vs. Lynx Sunday

Minneapolis, MN: The Connecticut Sun (2-14) conclude their four-game road trip taking on the Minnesota Lynx (13-2) on Sunday, June 29 at 7:00 PM ET/6:00 PM CT at the Target Center. The game will air locally on NBC Sports Boston with Brendan Glasheen and Edona Thaqi on the call. It will also be available to stream on WNBA League Pass.

Last time out on Friday night, the Sun fell to the Seattle Storm on the road, 97-81. Aneesah Morrow led the way for the Sun in the effort, notching her first WNBA double-double with a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds in 27 minutes played off the bench. She also added one assist and two steals in the game. Bria Hartley finished with a season-high 19 points, along with four rebounds and a season-high tying six assists. She led the Sun in 3PM, going 3/6 from beyond the arc in the contest. Jacy Sheldon added a season-high tying 15 points, four rebounds and one assist, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa chipped in 12 points, six rebounds, two assists, a career-high tying three steals and two blocks in the game.

The Connecticut Sun fell to the Minnesota Lynx in a close battle, 76-70, in their first match up of the 2025 regular season in Minneapolis on May 23. Marina Mabrey led the Sun with 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the game. She nailed a season-high four three-point field goals, went 7/19 from the field and played 31 minutes on the night for Connecticut. Haley Peters added a season-high 12 points in 20 minutes played off the bench in the game. She also grabbed six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. Peters finished with a team-best +/- of +10. The Sun had previously won five straight regular season road contests in Minneapolis, dating back to the 2021 season, prior to that loss.

The Lynx enter Sunday’s game coming off a 96-92 overtime road win over the Atlanta Dream on Friday night. WNBA All-Star forward Napheesa Collier led the way for the Lynx with 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists. The 2025 season marks Head Coach Cheryl Reeve’s 16th year as Lynx Head Coach. Reeve is 19-21 all-time against the Sun during the regular season.
