Uncasville, CT (April 17, 2023) – Natisha Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod fell to Elitzur Ramla in Game 1 of the WBL Finals series, 96-85, on Monday, April 10. Hiedeman finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and three steals in the effort. On Thursday, April 13, Hiedeman dropped Game 2 of the WBL Finals series to Eliztur Ramla, 89-84. Hiedeman led her team with 29 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals.

Mikiah Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions defeated the Nottingham Wildcats, 116-36, on Monday, April 10. Herbert Harrigan tallied 17 points, seven rebounds, one steal and one block in the victory. On Sunday, April 16, Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions picked up a win against the Leicester Riders, 76-52. Herbert Harrigan finished with 17 points and three rebounds in the win.

Alyssa Thomas, Brionna Jones and USK Prague fell to CBK Mersin, 78-58, in the EuroLeague Semifinals on Friday, April 14. Thomas tallied 11 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal. Jones added 14 points, 11 rebounds and two steals in the effort. On Sunday, April 16, Jones, Thomas and USK Prague fell to Schio in the EuroLeague third place contest, 59-56. Thomas notched 15 points, 12 rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jones finished with 10 points, 15 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

Tiffany Hayes and CBK Mersin defeated USK Prague, 78-58, in the EuroLeague Semifinals on Friday, April 14. Hayes led her team with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in the win. On Sunday, April 16, Hayes and CBK Mersin fell to Fenerbahce in the EuroLeague Championship, 99-60. Hayes had three points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in the loss.

Lauren Cox and Valencia defeated IDK Gipuzkoa, 65-58, in Spanish League play on Saturday, April 15. Cox tallied 11 points, six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in the win.

Connecticut Sun players are back in overseas action this week beginning with Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions taking on the Caledonia Gladiators at 2:00 PM ET on April 19. Hiedeman and Maccabi Ashdod face off against Elitzur Ramla at 11:00 AM ET; and Cox and Valencia play Estudiantes at 2:00 PM ET on April 20. Thomas, Jones and USK Prague take on Zabiny Brno at 12:00 PM ET on April 21. On April 22, Herbert Harrigan and London Lions face off against the Manchester Mystics at 10:00 AM ET. To close out the week, Jones, Thomas and USK Prague take on Zabiny Brno at 11:00 AM ET; Herbert Harrigan and the London Lions play the Durham Palatinates at 12:30 PM ET; and Cox and Valencia face off against Estudiantes at 1:00 PM ET on April 23.
