Arlington, TX– The Connecticut Sun (11-1) will face off against the Dallas Wings (3-8) in their second of three meetings during the 2024 regular season on Saturday, June 15 at 1:00 PM ET/12:00 PM CT. The game will air on CBS and stream live on the CBS Sports App.
Last time out on Wednesday night, the Connecticut Sun defeated the Chicago Sky, 83-75, in their final Commissioner’s Cup game of the 2024 season. Alyssa Thomas led the way for the Sun, tallying 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a season-high six steals in the win. Brionna Jones added 18 points, four rebounds and one steal, while DeWanna Bonner notched 16 points, eight boards, three assists and one steal. The Sun finished 4-1 in Commissioner’s Cup play and raised $13,000 for Reproductive Equity Now, the team’s 2024 Commissioner’s Cup beneficiary.

Dallas enters Saturday’s contest coming off a 92-84 loss to Seattle on Thursday night. The Wings have lost their last six games, with their most recent win coming on May 26 against the Sparks. Newly acquired Sun guard Veronica Burton will face her former team of two seasons for the first time this year on Saturday. Burton was originally drafted 7th overall by Dallas in the 2022 WNBA Draft and was waived by the organization prior to the 2024 season. Head Coach Latricia Trammel in her second season with the Wings and is 2-3 all-time coaching against the Sun.
