GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The Connecticut Sun fell to the Chicago Sky, 85-77, in Game 2 of the WNBA Semifinal. The best-of-five series is now tied 1-1.

- With two blocks in tonight’s contest, Jones moved into second all-time in blocks in Connecticut Sun post season history.
- The Sun trailed the Sky, 15-10, heading into the first media timeout of the contest. Jones led Connecticut with five points, one rebound, two assists and one block in the opening six minutes.
- Chicago ended the quarter on a 9-0 run to take a ten-point advantage over Connecticut, 24-14. Jones had seven points, two rebounds, two assists and one block to lead the Sun after ten minutes of action.
- The Sun shot 31.6% from the field in the first quarter, while the Sky were 60% from the floor.
- Connecticut opened the second quarter on a 6-2 run to cut Chicago’s lead to six, 26-20, with 7:45 remaining in the half. Brionna Jones had four of the Sun’s six points in those two minutes.
- The Sky responded with an 11-4 run, to take a 37-24 lead over the Sun with 3:32 to go in the second quarter.
- The Sun trailed the Sky, 47-32, at the halftime break, falling in the second quarter, 23-18.
- Jones led Connecticut with 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Parker led Chicago with 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block through two quarters.
- Connecticut shot 14-36 (38.9%), while Chicago went 19-31 (61.3%) from the floor in the first half.
- The Sun outscored the Sky on the fast break (9-8) and in bench points (8-4) through twenty minutes of action, while the Sky had the advantage in paint points (26-18). Both teams had four second-chance points in the first half.
- Chicago opened the second half outscoring Connecticut, 7-4, to take a 54-36 lead with 4:46 to go in the third quarter. Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman each had a bucket in that stretch out of the locker room.
- The Sun picked up some steam out of the first media timeout of the third, going on a 5-1 run, cutting into the Sky’s lead, 55-41. Odyssey Sims nailed a triple for Connecticut in that stretch.
- Chicago answered on a 6-0 run, taking their largest lead of the contest thus far, 61-41, with 2:03 to play in the third quarter.
- The Sun trailed the Sky, 65-48, after three quarters of action. Jones had four points and three rebounds to lead Connecticut in the third quarter.
- Chicago opened the fourth quarter outscoring Connecticut, 11-10, taking a 76-58 advantage with 5:44 remaining in the contest. Jones had six points and one assist to open the quarter to lead the Sun.
- Connecticut finished the game on a 19-9 run, but ultimately fell to Chicago, 85-77.
- Hiedeman finished with 14 points, one rebound and three assists. DiJonai Carrington, Sims and Jones each added seven points off the bench.
- The Sun outscored the Sky in the paint (44-42), in second chance points (6-4), on the fast break (13-10) and in bench points (25-14).
