The Connecticut Sun Presents "Games for Good"

Wed, Apr 13, 2022, 2:00 PM

Uncasville, CT (April 13, 2022) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced the launch of its “Games for Good” program. The free program is a fundraising initiative that benefits select local non-profits each year in the state of Connecticut through the purchase of tickets to Connecticut Sun games.

This year, the Connecticut Sun have chosen three local beneficiaries–the Connecticut Humane Society, The Village, and Project Oceanology–to participate in the program. Each non-profit in the program will be provided a special ticket link that they can share and promote throughout their network. When tickets are purchased using a non-profit’s ticket link, a portion of the proceeds generated will directly benefit that organization.

“Games for Good is a new program that we’re very proud of. Being able to support organizations that leave a positive impact on our community will always be important to the Sun. We’re excited about the opportunity to help our amazing fans support these organizations as well.” – Morgan Tuck, Director of Franchise Development
