Sun Make Roster Moves

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 3, 2019) – The Connecticut Sun claimed Natisha Hiedeman off waivers today. To make room on the roster, the team waived Bridget Carleton.

Hiedeman, drafted 18th overall in the 2019 WNBA Draft, saw action in three preseason games for the Sun this season. She scored 15 points while pulling down five rebounds and dishing out four assists in 29 minutes before being waived on May 23rd. Most recently, she was on Atlanta’s roster for three games before being waived.

Carleton saw action in four games for Connecticut, grabbing three rebounds and dishing out one assist. Selected by the Sun with the 21st overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft, the guard/forward was the Big 12 Player of the Year in her senior season at Iowa State.
