Season Highlights: 

Odyssey Sims proved to be the late season spark the Connecticut Sun needed this year. Sims, a nine-year WNBA veteran, signed a 7-day hardship contract with the Sun on 8/3, before ultimately signing a rest of season contract on 8/10. She appeared in five regular season contests for Connecticut and posted a season-high 13 points and four assists against Chicago on 8/7. Sims also logged minutes in all 12 playoff contests, finishing the postseason with 43 points, 18 rebounds, 15 assists and five steals. 

Most Notable Performances: 

  • August 7: Sims tallied a season-high 13 points in the 94-91 loss to the Chicago Sky.  
  • August 9: In the 97-71 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks, Sims dished out a season-high four assists and grabbed a season-high three steals, along with seven points and two rebounds.  
  • September 6: Sims helped the Sun force the Semifinals series deciding Game 5 when she dropped 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal off the bench in Game 4 over the Chicago Sky.
