Uncasville, CT (April 5, 2022) – Exemplify to Edify, LLC. has been named the Connecticut Sun’s “Change Can’t Wait” Business of the Month this April. Exemplify to Edify is a women’s inspirational organization that focuses on healing through writing and self-care workshops.

Miosotys Santiago, the founder of Exemplify to Edify, is an inspirational speaker and an Amazon Best Selling Author for her book God’s Diamond. After a series of hardships throughout her life, Santiago decided to turn her pain into purpose. She started her business after surviving the 9/11 attacks and sharing her experiences through keynote speaking engagements and inspirational speeches.

“I am truly humbled, honored, and so grateful to have been chosen as the April 2022 Business of the Month. It truly means so much to me, as I have been on a mission to empower, inspire, make, and create a positive impact within our community and the lives of many. This feature has truly revealed to me not only that my mission has been noticed, but it has been appreciated. I believe in the Power of Pain. I believe that our Pain does become our Purpose and driving force towards where we place our priorities and our healing, and I would just like to continue to encourage that. It is time that we as people take accountability for the baggage that we tend to carry with us as we age and learn to nurture and tend to those inner wounds one by one, so that we can truly live with the best version of ourselves. Again, I want to thank the organization and everyone included behind the scenes in making this all possible for me, as I know this is only the beginning of something greater to come for us all.” – Miosotys Santiago

Perhaps one of Exemplify to Edify’s most meaningful programs is their Teen Self Care Workshops. Santiago, realizing how difficult it is for teens to open up about their experiences, encourages her teens to use vision boards as a way of expressing themselves and the lives they wish to lead. The use of vision boards, Santiago noticed, gives these teens a sense of community, connection and teamwork that many of them may not have had previously.

“We are so excited to have Exemplify to Edify as our April ‘Change Can’t Wait’ Business of the Month. Miosotys’s commitment to helping others deal with their pain and mental health is so admirable, and the ways in which she is helping her community are so worthy of being highlighted. Miosotys’s efforts are changing people’s lives for the better, and I am so glad that the Connecticut Sun can help shed a light on the people in this community who are doing such great work.” – Morgan Tuck, Director of Franchise Development
