In Turkey, veteran Jasmine Thomas averaged 17.5 points, a team-high 5.0 assists and 4.7 rebounds through 23 games for OGM Orman Genclik Ankara. On April 14th, she closed out her regular season play posting a team-high 23 points, three rebounds and three assists in a 101-69 loss to Galatasaray. OGM Orman Genclik Ankara did not qualify for playoffs.

In her first season overseas in Russia, Sun forward Brionna Jones averaged 11.9 points and 7.9 rebounds over 23 games for Nadezhda Orenburg. On April 13th, she finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in an 88-83 loss to Dynamo K. in game two of the Russian League semifinals series. Also in Russia, Sun guard Alex Bentley averaged 14.1 points, 3.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 14 games with Nadezhda Orenburg. She led the team with 26 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals in the game. Dynamo K. will now advance to the finals.

In the Czech Republic, Sun draft pick Leticia Romero is averaging 9.6 points, 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds through 28 games for ZVVZ USK Praha. On April 10th, she led the team with 20 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and five steals in an 87-49 win over Sokol HK in game three of the Czech Republic League semifinals to complete the series sweep. ZVVZ USK Praha will now advance to play KP Brno in the Czech Republic finals scheduled to begin on April 25th.

Newly acquired Sun forwards Cayla George and Kelsey Griffin both played for Australia in the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Queensland, Australia. On April 14th, George finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in a 99-55 win over England, helping Australia capture the Gold Metal. Griffin also added 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in the win.

Jonquel Jones (Shanxi Xing Rui), Alyssa Thomas (Samsung Life Blue Minx), Morgan Tuck (Shaanxi Tianze), Courtney Williams (Perth Lynx), Rachel Banham (Bendigo Spirit) have all completed their seasons overseas.
