DeWanna Bonner Named to 2020 All-WNBA Second Team
Uncasville, CT (October 4, 2020) – The WNBA today revealed members of the All-WNBA First and Second Teams during halftime of Game 2 of the WNBA Finals. The two teams, which consists of ten players, was voted on by a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
Sun forward DeWanna Bonner (135 points) has been named to the All-WNBA Second Team. It is the second All-WNBA nod of her career. In her first season with the Sun, Bonner finished third in the WNBA in scoring (19.7 ppg), tied for sixth in steals (1.68 spg) and 10th in rebounding (7.8 rpg). Bonner helped lead her team the WNBA Semifinals after starting the season 0-5. In addition to being named to this year’s All-WNBA Second team, Bonner was also named Eastern Conference Player of the Week on two occasions.
