— “Free Throws for Change” to Benefit Black Girls Achieve —

Uncasville, CT (March 20, 2023) – Today, the Connecticut Sun announced its renewed partnership with MoheganSunCasino.com as its Official iGaming Partner.

MoheganSunCasino.com will be the presenting sponsor of the Connecticut Sun’s new in-game program “Free Throws for Change,” where for every free throw made during the 2023 season, MoheganSunCasino.com will donate $10 to “Black Girls Achieve,” a for profit empowerment program created to provide Black girls the space to be themselves while learning how to navigate the nuance of Black girlhood.

MoheganSunCasino.com will be the presenting sponsor of the Connecticut Sun fan-favorite “Mohegan Blaze Canoe Race,” where fans will have chances to win cash prizes up to $1,000. During Star Wars day on Sunday, July 30 when the Connecticut Sun take on the Minnesota Lynx at 1:00 PM EST, MoheganSunCasino.com will be sponsoring Star Wars t-shirts that the first 2,500 fans will receive when they walk into Mohegan Sun Arena.
