On Saturday, January 6th, approximately 80 kids from the greater Hartford area had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business when Sun forward Chiney Ogwumike, along with Head Coach Curt Miller and Assistant Coach Steve Smith, helped run a clinic at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield.

The clinic, hosted by the West Hartford YMCA, was open to kids of all ages and abilities from the greater Hartford area free of charge. Kids participated in different stations, sharpening their skills in rebounding, defense, shooting, dribbling and more. Ogwumike and the coaches visited each station, sharing their expertise with the participants.
At the conclusion of the clinic, Ogwumike addressed the crowd, stressing the importance of thanking whomever had brought them there for the experience as well as working hard in school and on their skills.
