UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 29, 2015) – On Tuesday, June 30th the Connecticut Sun will celebrate Pride Night when facing the Indiana Fever at Mohegan Sun Arena at 7 p.m.
The first 4,000 fans in attendance will receive a special Sun rainbow bracelet to celebrate inclusion and equality.
All fans can also enjoy a performance by Kalliope Jones at halftime of Tuesday’s contest. The group will also be performing the National Anthem prior to tipoff. Kalliope Jones is a refreshingly eclectic, all original, vocally rich, emotionally stirring, foot stomping, heartwarming, teenage post-rock girl group. The trio (Amelia Nields Chalfant, Isabella DeHerdt, and Alouette Batteau) met at the Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) in Goshen, Mass., and have performed with a variety of acts at a number of venues. Their debut video, Speak Up, won both Best Youth Video and Audience Favorite at the 2012 Ashfield Film Festival.
