UNCASVILLE, Conn. (June 2, 2018) — The Connecticut Sun announced its theme nights for the 2018 season today.
In July, the team will celebrate Blaze’s Birthday on July 11th against the New York Liberty at 11:30 a.m., Pride Night on July 13th against the Phoenix Mercury at 7 p.m. and Hometown Heroes on July 20th at 7 p.m. against the Seattle Storm. Pride Night will also feature the second installment of the In The Paint series with a limited edition player poster roster card distributed to the first 5,000 fans in attendance.
In August, the Sun will wear pink uniforms to raise awareness for breast health twice, on August 5th at 3 p.m. against the Las Vegas Aces and on August 12th versus the Chicago Sky, also at 3 p.m. The game on the 5th will feature another installment of the In The Paint series.
On Wednesdays, the Sun will switch things up and wear their road navy uniforms at home for four games. Those include June 13th against the Washington Mystics, June 27th against the Indiana Fever, July 11th against New York and August 1st again the Liberty as well. There will be blue themed promotions throughout each game.
The Sun will be in action next on Sunday, June 3rd at Washington and will return home to face the Minnesota Lynx on June 9th at 2 p.m. Get tickets
