Rehabbing With Tuck: Christmas Edition

Merry Christmas Everyone!

A lot has been going on lately but this week is one of the weeks that I’ve been looking forward to for a while. I’m going home for Christmas and I get to stay for more than a couple days. Christmas at home is always great because my mom decorates the whole house pretty much the same way she did even when I was little.

One of my favorite parts is looking at all of the old ornaments from when I was younger. A tradition that we have in my family is that every year we get a new ornament that commemorates something special that happened that year. Another tradition that we have is that on Christmas Eve everyone gets to open one gift. We get excited every year even though it’s always the same thing – pajamas! I’m not sure how that tradition started but it’s one of my favorites.

Another things that I’m looking forward to is seeing the reactions of my family when they open their gifts. I take a lot of pride in the gifts that I give. But the absolute best thing about Christmas time is spending time with family. This time is really important to me because after this year I most likely won’t get much time at home.

I hated the fact that I had to have another surgery, but this time has given me a lot of time to do some of the things that I haven’t really been able to do in the past few years. One of those things being spending a lot of time with my family. I hope all of you have a great time with your loved ones! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
