Mohegan Sun Sports Partners With Select Physical Therapy

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (March 26, 2018) — Mohegan Sun Sports, which includes the Connecticut Sun and New England Black Wolves, announced today that it will partner with Select Physical Therapy.

As part of this relationship, Select Physical Therapy will provide the team with athletic trainers for games and practices, as well as physical therapists and access to the organization’s state-of-the-art facilities.

For the upcoming Sun season, Select Physical Therapy has assigned former New York Liberty and UConn athletic trainer Rosemary Ragle to the team. Inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015, Ragle worked at UConn from 1999 through 2016 before leaving for the New York Liberty. After two seasons in the WNBA, Ragle joined Select Physical Therapy.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Select Physical Therapy,” said Amber Cox, Vice President of the Connecticut Sun and New England Black Wolves. “The care of our athletes is the most critical service we provide when these men and women represent us. This agreement takes that commitment to the next level. Select PT not only has incredible facilities and personnel, but they are leaders in the industry when it comes to the latest athletic training and physical therapy practices. And being assigned someone of Rosemary’s caliber – with her experience and impeccable reputation – it makes our day-to-day care and treatment of our Sun players unmatched in the WNBA.”

Select Physical Therapy is part of the Select Medical Outpatient Division, a nationally prominent, locally driven provider of outpatient physical rehabilitation. The Outpatient Division delivers sports medicine, physical therapy and athletic training services to a wide range of clients.
