Season Highlights:

2022 marked Joyner Holmes’ third season in the WNBA, first with the Connecticut Sun. Holmes appeared in 26 regular season contests for the Sun, finishing the year with 53 points, 35 rebounds, 12 assists, eight steals and two blocks. She notched a season-high nine points, along with three assists and three steals in a win over Atlanta (6/15). The 6-3 forward made her first WNBA postseason appearance during the Sun’s 2022 playoff run, logging minutes in seven contests.

Most Notable Performances:

  • June 8: In a 88-69 win over the Indiana Fever, Holmes tied a career-high with two three-point field goals. She finished the contest with eight points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
  • June 15: Holmes tallied a season-high nine points, along with three assists and a career-high three steals in a 105-92 victory over Atlanta.
  • August 31: In Game 2 of the WNBA Semifinals against the Chicago Sky, Holmes tallied her first career-playoff points (two points), and a postseason career-high three rebounds.
