Season Highlights: 

Sun captain Jasmine Thomas appeared and started in five contests during the 2022 WNBA regular season before suffering a season-ending injury (torn ACL) in Connecticut’s win over Indiana on 5/22. Over five games, the 12-year veteran leader averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.6 steals per contest. Thomas kept her presence known, as she stayed with the team through the rest of the 2022 season, providing her leadership and knowledge to her teammates from the sideline. 

Most Notable Performances: 

  • May 7: Thomas notched a season-high 13 points in the Sun’s season opener against the New York Liberty.  
  • May 14: In their first win of the season, Thomas dished out a season-high four assists. She also added seven points, four rebounds and one steal.
