Coming off her rookie campaign in 2021, DiJonai Carrington elevated her game and made a big impact with the Sun in 2022. The guard-forward averaged a career-best 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 17.5 minutes per game. This season, Carrington tallied a career-high 18 points against New York (7/19), eight rebounds against Los Angeles (8/9) and four assists against Chicago (8/7). During the Sun’s postseason run, the San Diego native recorded her first playoff stats, finishing the year with 71 points, 32 rebounds, nine assists, 12 steals and two blocks over 12 games.
