Connecticut Sun, FOX 61 Partner To Honor Veterans, First Responders

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (July 16, 2018) – The Connecticut Sun and FOX 61 will team up to honor the contributions made by military personnel and first responders on July 20, when the Sun host Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart and the Seattle Storm at Mohegan Sun Arena on Hometown Heroes Night.

FOX 61 honorees will be guests of the Connecticut Sun on July 20. At halftime, Hartford Police Officer, Jill Kidik will be recognized for her contributions to the community. Proud to Serve correspondent Ben Goldman will serve as the guest of the game. And the Connecticut National Guard Foundation will be the featured non-profit.
