Dear Sun fans,
I am excited to watch Game Five of the WNBA Championship series this evening. The WNBA has enjoyed a magical season while celebrating its 20th Anniversary of the league. The new playoff format has worked out and allowed the two best teams throughout the season to meet in an epic final.
There have been too many story lines throughout this playoff series to address but I am excited to watch which team will impose their will in Game Five. There will be one winner tonight on the court but I truly believe all fans of the WNBA will be winners as we conclude an outstanding season.
The league is under great leadership, the team rosters are deeper than ever, and the fan bases and viewership are continuing to grow. Personally, I am excited for our own Connecticut Sun. We finished the second half of the season strong and we look forward to continuing to build with our young and talented nucleus.
