The 2021 WNBA Most Improved Player, Brionna Jones, picked up where she left off during the 2022 season. The 6-3 forward was named the WNBA and AP Sixth Player of the Year after averaging 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 25.1 minutes per game coming off the bench for Connecticut. Jones also finished second in offensive rebounding (2.6) and fourth in field goal percentage (56.9%) in the WNBA season. During her sixth year in the league, Jones tallied her 1,000th point, 600th rebound and 100th assist in regular season play.
